Talk to your journal from your AI assistant
If you already think things through with an AI assistant, it can now remember with you. Connect it to Lapriland and it can find what you wrote, read it back to you, and keep new memories in your own words, on the line of your whole life. You decide what it may do, and you can disconnect it at any time.
What to ask it
Once it is connected, talk to it the way you would to someone who has read your journal with you:
- “What did I write about my grandmother?”
- “Find the memories from the year we moved, and tell me what they have in common.”
- “Help me remember my first job, one question at a time, and save it to my journal.”
- “Add this to my memory about the kite on the hill: my brother held the string.”
It saves a memory only when you ask, in your words, and with the date as loose as you remember it: “when I was about nine”, “early nineties”, or no date at all.
Connect it in four steps
- In your assistant, open its settings and find where it adds connectors. Some call them integrations, tools, or MCP servers.
- Add a custom connector, and paste this address:
https://app.lapriland.com/mcp - Your assistant opens Lapriland. Sign in, and read what it is asking for. Choose whether it may add and edit memories, and whether memories you marked as hard are included. Type your password to allow it.
- Back in your assistant, ask it something about your life.
Your assistant needs to support MCP connectors to a remote server. If you can’t find where to add one, its own help pages will say whether it can.
What it sees, and what it never does
- It never sees a memory you keep away from the AI. Not its words, its title, or a name that appears only in it.
- Memories you marked as hard stay out, unless you choose to include them when you connect it.
- It also sees your name, birth year and chapters, which place your memories in your life.
- It can’t delete a memory, change your settings, or see your email address or how you sign in.
- If it changes a memory’s title or words, you can bring back the earlier ones from the memory’s page.
- What it reads goes to your assistant, and to whoever runs it, under their privacy terms, not ours. Our Privacy Notice says what that means.
What it costs
Nothing extra. Your assistant does its own thinking, so connecting it uses none of your Lapriland credits, on any plan. A memory it saves counts toward your plan’s room like any memory you write yourself.
Teach it the way of the journal
Some assistants can learn a skill: a short set of instructions they follow when it fits. Ours teaches an assistant to ask before it saves, keep your words, place a memory the way you remember it, and go gently with the hard ones. Your assistant works without it too.
Download the skill (.zip) Read it first
Add it wherever your assistant keeps its skills.
See it, and disconnect it
Settings, Connected apps lists every assistant you’ve connected, what it may do, what it added or changed, and when it was last used. Disconnect ends it at once. A password reset, turning on two-step sign-in, disconnecting Google or Telegram, or This wasn’t me disconnects every app as well. We email you whenever one is connected.
For developers
- The server is at

and resource indicators, called from your app’s server or the person’s computer, not from a web
